Noticeboard

The practice is introducing a new telephone Prescription Ordering Service from 14th August 2017.

The NHS Prescription Ordering Centre (POC) service is an easy service for you to use to order your repeat prescription.

You will speak to a dedicated receptionist, who will be able to order your repeat prescription from your Doctor’s surgery and either send your prescription directly to your normal Chemist or have the prescription ready for you to collect from your surgery.

Why use this new service?

The POC service makes ordering your repeat prescriptions quicker and easier. Most surgeries do not accept repeat medicines requests over the phone and this new service will enable you to do this.

                                          ******

The surgery has experienced a significant intrusion of its phone lines.

Please accept our apologies and use the number 01453 540066 to contact Cam Surgery.

Nurse Clinics

Appointments can be made to see a Nurse at either surgery without the need for a referral from a Doctor. As well as helping with clinical matters the nurse can advise you about your holiday health and make all the arrangements for your vaccinations. We have a Travel Advice Leaflet available for patients who intend to travel abroad. There is also a link to the NHS Online Travel Advice at the Advice & Self-Help section of this site.

Medical Examinations

The Doctors carry out Medical Examinations at the request of Insurance Companies and other organisations. These appointments are avaliable on Tuesday mornings for Uley patients and Monday evenings for Cam patients. These usually incur a charge. For a list of fees, please see: Fees for Non NHS Services.
