The hospital replaced Berkeley Hospital and the Sandpits Clinic.

The Vale Community Hospital is open to both inpatients and outpatients. The hospital benefits from a large free car park and has plenty of on-site facilities.

It's services include community therapy, a range of outpatients clinics, X-ray facilities and a nurse led Minor Injury Unit. The Minor Injury Unit treats minor injuries and illnesses such as sprains, cuts, wounds, minor fractures and minor head injuries.

Bus Services:  Services 35, 207, 210 and 281/211 are direct to the Vale Hospital. Use May Lane Bus Station for all other connecting bus services. Please contact Traveline on 0871 200 22 33 for up-to-date timetables.
